ViewSonic unveils two new Android-based tablet devices, the 7-inch ViewPad 7 and the 10-inch ViewPad 10. The former is a Android 2.2 device while the latter is not just a Android tablet, but a dual-booting Windows 7/Android tablet PC

ViewSonic’s ViewPad 7 runs the latest Android 2.2 OS. It has a 7-inch 800×480 capacitive touchscreen LCD display, a 3 Megapixel main camera and a 0.3 Megapixel front camera, Bluetooth and WiFi. With built-in 3.5G connectivity and the front-facing camera, users are able to do video calling. The 7-inch ViewPad has 512MB memory and supports microSD/SDHC up to 32GB. It’s battery oofers up to 10 hours of use.

The ViewPad 10 is a dual-boot tablet PC with both Windows 7 Home Premium and Android 1.6. It is powered by 1.6GHz Atom processor, 1GB RAM and 16GB SSD storage. The 10.1-inch capacitive touchscreen has multitouch support and LED-backlit. It packs also a 1.3 Megapixel webcam, WiFi, Bluetooth and built-in microphone.

The ViewSonic ViewPad 7 will be available in Q4 2010 for $479 while the ViewPad 10 will come in Q1 2011 for $629.
