Sprint has confirmed that HTC’s Evo 3D smartphone and View 4G tablet will hit store shelves on June 24th.
The handset, which allows users to view 3D without special glasses, carries a very reasonable $200 price tag, while the Evo View 4G tablet weighs in at a cool $400.
As expected, the above-mentioned price points are contingent upon a two-year service agreement from the carrier.
The Evo 3D is certainly one hotly anticipated smartphone, as it features a slew of tricked out specs, including 4G speeds, Android 2.3 (Gingerbread), a 4.3-inch display, 1.2GHz (Qualcomm) Snapdragon dual-core processor and dual 5-megapixel cameras.
The 7-inch Evo View tablet also boasts impressive specs, as it is powered by a 1.5GHz Snapdragon chip.
Unfortunately, the device will launch with Android Gingerbread, but is expected to be updated to Android 3.0 Honeycomb when Google gets around to optimizing/adjusting the OS for 7-inch tablets.
Both devices are currently available for pre-order at Sprint – with the purchase of a $50 gift card.
